Dispensary

The dispensary is open from 08:00 to 18:30 Monday-Friday

Enhanced Access Timetable

From the 1st October 2022, a new enhanced access timetable was launched nationwide and you can now see a GP or other healthcare professional during:

• weekday evenings between 18:30 and 20:00
• Saturdays and Sundays

These appointments offered could be:

• at your registered practice
• another local GP practices
• another local NHS service - such as a General Practice Hub

What type of appointments will be available?

Evening telephone consultations are offered by a range of clinical professionals between 18:30–20:00, Monday to Friday.

Patients registered with the practice are also able to access face-to-face appointments with a GP at two designated sites from 09:00am to 17:00pm on a Saturday. These appointments should be for acute issues and not long term conditions.

These can be booked either via the reception team or by calling NHS111.

You can only attend these appointments if you have pre-booked.  If you do not have an appointment and require medical attention when the surgery is closed please call 111.

When the surgery is closed you can call NHS 111.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In an emergency Call 999 - chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Urgent Medication

If you require urgent medication out of hours the following pharmacies have extended opening:

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

• Treat yourself at home
• Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

The Practice will close on the following afternoons from 13:00.  These closures are set by Kent & Medway Integrated Care Board (KMICB) and are to ensure that Primary Health Care Teams are getting the essential training and development needed to ensure delivery of the best possible service to patients.  

When the surgery is closed there will be an On Call service running during these events and these dates will also be displayed in the surgery premises and on the surgery door. If you have an urgent need for medical attention please call 111. In an emergency continue to call 999. Please remember to collect your repeat prescriptions outsides of these times.
