Prescriptions can be dispensed to those patients on our dispensing list. Patients who live more than a mile from a chemist and are also south of the M20 may apply to be on this list.

These patients may also take their prescriptions to an outside chemist if they wish. Please ask at the dispensary if you would like to be on the surgery dispensing list.

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long term treatment may be given computerised repeat prescriptions. We cannot accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone. Your doctor will still want to see you at agreed intervals to review your treatment and health. A printed prescription will be ready for you at the surgery two working days after we receive your request. You may choose to have your prescription sent to the chemist in Borough Green or Vigo village if you wish, but please allow 3/4 days for this service.

For those on our dispensing list the dispensed prescription may be collected at the surgery, or there is a delivery of medicines to the Post Office in Plaxtol or the Newsagents in Wrotham three times a week. Only patients who are exempt from prescription charges may use the Wrotham delivery.
